This bread basket design is one I remember from my childhood. My mother has a an oval one that was white. She served bread and rolls at most every occasion from that ceramic basket. I still have it today. This cream basket is the perfect shape for french bread or a longer loaf. It's also great for crackers or bread sticks. It's versatile design can go from casual to more fancy, just change out the linens for whatever occasion you are having.
