The Portieux Vallerysthal Company produced beautiful opaline glass and has a complex history. Under the patronage of Duke Leopold of Lorraine, Francois Magnien founded the company in 1705 in Vosges, France, close to the raw materials needed to make glass. Vallerystahl began their glass production in 1836. 

This lovely blue opaline cordial set comes with a decanter and stopper, along with 3 cordial glasses. This set is very rare. Perfect for display on a silver platter on a buffet or a bar cart. Add your favorite bottle of port or after dinner sipper. Great condition for it's age.
