Vintage Lighter Silverplate, Ronson Mayfair Silver Table Lighter

Ronson lighters are highly collectible since they were originally made in the early 1900s and had a very decorative style. Ronson received an exclusive patent, in 1926, for a new automatic style of lighter that worked with one hand, and in 1927 Ronson began marketing it as the Ronson De-Light Lighter with the slogan "A flip - and it's lit! Zippo is now the owner of Ronson lighter company.

This beautiful silverplate Ronson lighter has that one handed flip it and it's lit style. The artistic design of this lighter has a pedestal base, beaded silver accents and a tulip shape body. It is something that would have been proudly displayed as a decorative and functional piece. Great vintage condition. I do not know if it works..I am selling it "as is".
