Vintage Spooner - Victorian Blue Slag Glass "Bird and Tree" Possibly McKee Glass 2 Available each sold separately

What is a spooner, you ask? A vintage spooner is spoon holder. In "the olden days" knives and forks were kept in the drawer but spoons were kept on the table next to the sugar bowl. This one has a lid with a slot for a spoon so is probably meant to hold one spoon. It has also been called a mustard spooner and used to serve mustard or other condiments. Great condition. These are possibly reproductions but they are great for your table or bar. Serve jelly, jams, condiments or keep your stirrer or spoon in it .

Please see picture details as they are part of the description.
