A rare find for sure! This was rusted and brown when I found it at an estate sale and its cleaned up well. A little more elbow grease and those spots should come out. This lidded brass dish has a decorative border with X accents. The tusk handle is truly spectacular. No markings on it which typically means it is a very old piece. Use it to store letters, notes, office supplies, jewelry or anything that you'd like to have hidden but close by. Great for Father's Day gift or for the Graduate as a unique and highly rare vintage find.
