Waterford Crystal Glasses Alana Pattern Champagne, Sherbet Glasses, 8 available EACH SOLD SEPARATELY
Waterford pioneered making crystal glass in 1783. Crystal was originally discovered in London, England by George Ravenscroft. He also realized that adding lead to glass made it a better quality of glass with an extra sparkle. England started to tax their luxury goods so much that it became less popular. Hence, Glass makers moved to Ireland and it became the place most known for glass, and that is where Waterford Crystal is still made today.
This is a set of the Alana Pattern champagne/Sherbet glasses. This set has been discontinued. Each glass is in excellent condition and ready for use or display.
