Carnival glass is moulded or to pressed glass which an iridescent surface shimmer has been applied. The name Carnival glass was adopted by collectors in the 1950s as items of it were sometimes given as prizes at carnivals, fetes, and fairgrounds.
This iridescent green cut glass plate is in pristine condition. You can see the glow and it's even more beautiful in person. Great to add to a collection or to display. Makes a great serving piece. Add fillers like ornaments or Easter eggs for a holiday table centerpiece.
