They are stamped a sun and these words: Mappin Brothers, 66 Cheapside,E.C. 220 Recent ST Wand, Queen's Works Sheffield, Queen's Plate. Sheffield plating was used in the 1800s and used more silver over copper than regular silver plating. Great vintage/antique condition. There are 4 round holes that would hold either teacups, berry bowls or egg cups. After extensive research I am unsure which this service set was used for. Truly a RARE FIND!
